英英辞典を使うことをおすすめします。
英和辞典を使っていると、いつか壁につきあたると思います。
「頑張っているわりには、ちっとも英語力が伸びない」という壁です。
英語を英語のまま理解するために、ぜひとも英英辞典を使って意味調べをして
それを音読するというやり方にシフトして欲しいと思います。
「本物の英語力」が身につくはずです。

Batter is a mixture of flour, eggs, and milk that is used in cooking.
ex) pancake batter.
